I could barely draw that. My drawing equipment has finally broken beyond any fix or repair. You see how bad the lines look? So unsteady. Took me ages to get close.
The pen is dead. I had an old broken one, After years of struggling with it.. lines jumping, trembling, refusing to stay straight, it has finally given up. I worked around it for so long, redrawing the same strokes over and over, forcing my broken tools to obey. When my pens broke, I reprogrammed my eraser to take its place.
I had so much hope for 2025, for political cartooning, for finally making something of all this work. But before the year even begins, I’m already falling behind.
I will see you soon when I can get my pen fixed or new set up.
